Know Your Client (or KYC) is a process that must be completed by all companies that handle money on behalf of others. It allows us to verify who you are, the organisation you represent, and your eligibility to be treated as a charity from the perspective of fund-raising and gift aid. Completion of this section is mandatory as unfortunately without it you will be unable to use the platform for fundraising.
If you are not eligible to operate as a charity you can still be part of the Million Steps family by registering as a business. Your business and your employees will be able to fundraise for your chosen charities on the platform, which can enhance your corporate social responsibility
